I’m based out of South Plainfield and Bridgewater, NJ. For my full-time job, I’m an Automation Engineer/Full Stack Software Developer, but I moonlight as Set Designer and Master Carpenter for community theatres (i.e. Villagers Theatre in Somerset), a tinkerer and independent product designer/inventor, a woodworker and metalworker, as well as numerous other titles. I could go by “Maker”, or “Polymath”, but the title I embrace most is the root of them all… “Problem Solver”.
My Background
Education
I received my Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering (focus in Hardware) from The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT).
- Senior Capstone Project Manager and Core Designer/Fabricator (Placed top 10 in graduating class)
- Mixologist MK1 – A Raspberry Pi powered Automatic Drink Mixing Unit. Capable of mixing 4 spirits with 4 mixers and customizable by the user.
I am currently enrolled in the OMSCS Masters Program for Computer Science at The Georgia Institute of Technology.
Other Interests
I am an Eagle Scout (Troop 29 Dunellen, NJ). This has contributed to my current hobbies of camping, hiking, biking, running, etc.)
Intermittently over 4 years, I worked as a Fabricator/Prototyping assistant for the Mechanical Engineering company, Sigma Design Co, in Middlesex. This job included working on projects for Philips, J&J, MERCK, Exxon, Glenn Mills, Spiral Water, and many more major companies. I specialized in electrical work, but I also spent even more time working on and building machinery, mostly being a certified “Wrench Monkey”.
